I second ra_mom's meatball recipe. It's delish and very kid and husband friendly too! And it freezes really well...

Here is a recipe for meat lasagna:

4 eggs
2 onions
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 1/2 tbsp. Salt
Sauce:
8 oz tomatoe sauce
15 oz tomatoe juice
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 red pepper, diced
1 green pepper,diced
Servings recalculate
Preparation
Cook noodles as directed, and drain; set aside.
Saute onions. Mix onions, meat, eggs, bread crumbs, and salt. Spread out noodles and add meat mixture on top, roll. Place in a 9x13 pan w/seam side down.
Mix sauce sauce ingredients. Pour over noodles. Garnish w/peppers on top.
Bake covered on 400 for 1 1/2 hrs.
PS Freezes well
PS I doubled the sauce ingredients.
