Hi. My old hot water urn, a Hamilton Beach w. plastic top needs to be replaced. The plastic top is actually all crumbly & disintigrating. Yuck.
I found this: Le Chef 45 cup Hot water urn w. Shabbas "keep warm" & can add water on Yom Tov. The top looks like it is plastic, so I am wondering if after 10 years it will be crumbling apart too???

Has anyone used one of these? Any advice for a better make?
The price is OK w. me. I am not trying to save money on this, just want something that will last for the kind of wear we put on it.
