Just curious whats normal for a 4 month old. My daughter is hitting four months now and she seems t be very quiet all the time. She cries normally . She also giggles. She makes very light cooing sounds....not on her full voice.

Cooing is making vowel sounds and babbling is producing syllables. The former comes before the latter. I think, at your child's age, she is supposed to coo but not babble yet, but of course, everyone is different.

My baby is 4months and he makes noises all day. I think it depends on the baby.
I put him in his chair and he babbles/cooes whatever you want to call it (I dunno the difference) either way he makes noises and shouts and giggles.
It could be your baby is on the quiet side.
