If you've ever made the brisket recipe with beer and chili sauce, can you please tell me
a) if its good and
b) if it's come's out spicy (I don't like food that it too hot)

Just made it last night for the first time and it came out very tasty (DH and I both sampled it and he loved it)!!! It's not at all spicy so don't be concerned about that. It's also very easy to make (I.e just dump in the pan, add sauce, seasonings and straight into the oven).

FYI, chili sauce isn't spicy. It tastes like highly seasoned ketchup. In fact I often substitute ketchup plus more seasonings in recipes that call for chili sauce when I don't have it on hand or don't want to buy it.

It is not spicy at all. I make it all the time, and we like spicy food so I substitute hot sauce for chili sauce.
