My 2 year old dd is a major night owl. She stays up until midnight sometimes and nothing I do is helping her get on a normal schedule. If I dont let her nap, she'll just fall asleep at 6 or 7 pm then wake up from her "nap" an hour later! Then she'll be up till 11 or 12 at night. Having her nap at a normal time doesnt help either. She is up right now at 11:45 pm and had a nap today from 1:15 pm to 2:15.
This has been going on for months and I am going out of my mind because I don't have an evening to get anything done or just to unwind from a chaotic day with 5 kids, including a newborn. I am desperate - pleeeeease anyone have any advice?

BUMP
Because I have a similar problem with my 16-month-old. He won't go to sleep until like 10:30-11, and I also have a baby. Plus, I would like nights available to spend time with dh and do homework (I'm a nursing student in my last year).
Anyone have advice for us???
