with all these meals comming up I was wondering if anyone can suggest any simple desserts.
SIMPLE means - no fancy ingredients, fanciest kosher ingredient we have here is something like margarine!! (we didnt have that a few years ago), anything that has pudding, parve, non-dairy creamer and all that stuff does not exist here.
we usually make different flavors parve ice cream (from the purple cook-book) but im looking for different ideas....

Make a sweet potato pie and serve it with vanilla ice cream. If you can't get ahold of graham cracker crust, then serve it without crust. You can make sweet potato pie by just boiling some peeled sweet potatoes, mashing them up, and then add some eggs, margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon.
