my ds had a bowel movement in the bath. so I took him out to clean him off, clean out the bathtub and restart his bath. I know I shouldve put a diaper on him, and I definitely learned my lesson now. but he was right next to me, I was almost finished cleaning out the bathtub, when I noticed brown around his mouth. (sorry for the TMI) I then saw a little brown on the floor, and he mustve made a little on the floor (looked diarrhea-ish) and put some in his mouth.
besides my being grossed out from it, and of course I gave him something to drink, is it bad for him?

I will just tell you what I remember reading and you will be happy to hear it. It was in a magazine I think. The question was asked what to do when your kid poops in the tub. Do you need to bleach it before putting them back in? Because it is their own bacteria, after draining the water and getting the.... visible bulk of it, ya know- out, there is no need to bleach the tub.
