wanted to get some advices on how to collect money for "ahnassat kala"for my friends !
she is getting married in 3 weeks and she just lost her mum and her dad is not in the picture for a long time already....and I know that money is a very big issue...
Where should I start ? how to ask people ?
( I live in U.K. )

I would start by throwing her a shower if that is done in your community. Three weeks isn't much time for fundraising. You could have a parlor meeting, but I would be worried about embarrassing her with public knowledge that you are collecting for her. How does she feel about it? Is the chosson's family ready/able to pick up most of the tab?

Find out if your community has a Hachnasat Kallah fund already in place. They may be able to help her.
some communities also have a gmach that lends out clothing for simchas.
You should probably post where in the UK you are so that people who live there can inform you.
