What can I use as a crust for a cheesecake? Last year I tried to mash up lady fingers with some butter. It didn't come out fabulous What's a good alternative? I'd like something more graham-crackery than nutty. And I'm not a big chocolate fan (don't kill me!) Thanks guys!

Buy or make a good cookie. Crust into crumbs. Toast with butter. Spread on bottom of pan.

What cookie would you recommend, and what brand? I live in NY so it's pretty much all available.

Maybe a choc chip cookie.

this is definitely not the low fat version but you can use toasted ground almonds or other nut of choice.
