My son's light blue shirt has red pepper stains. I sprayed it well with Oxygen (color safe bleach) and put it thru the wash, but it did not take out the stains. What should I do now? It has not yet gone into the dryer.

Oxyclean Powder with blue crystals gets out most organic stains... I cook with turmeric which is a nightmare but oxyclean does the trick....
I put warm water over the stain,
Sprinkle oxyclean
Let sit for a half hour or so and repeat if necessary

Do NOT put it into the dryer! The heat will set the stains. Wash on COLD, and hang in the sun to dry. The sun will bleach it out. You may need to repeat, but the second it goes in the dryer you've killed the shirt.
