my 8 yr old dd complains on and off that her cheek hurts. she also has a bad cough that is persistent, but the doc doesn't hear anything in her chest, so I'm suspecting allergies... we mentioned the cheek pain to the doc when he checked out the cough, but didn't say much about it. what could be causing her cheek pain? could it be sinus related? or maybe dental? how can we figure it out?

If the doctor didn't see anything wrong, then check with the dentist.
