Does anyone else do this? I feel like most of the WAHMs on this site are doing freelance work where they can make their own hours. Does anyone "telecommute," ie, work from home for a company where others are in the office for a full workday? The pros are obv a set salary and work, the cons are the loss of flexibility.
If you do this - how do you manage to be part of things when you're not physically there?
How can you leverage working from home to the best advantage (I.e. put up a load of laundry before the day starts and then trasfer to dryer <1 min from work time)
Do you have your kids home with you? How do you manage to balance working and taking care of them? Do you have a babysitter with you? Do you send your kids out?
