You wash and cut your sweet potatoes in the shape of fries. Toss with oil and then sprinkle with salt and paprika. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

| I do that, we like to add pepper and/or garlic powder too, so sometimes I skip the paprika.

| Oh and I bake closer to 400F, much faster and gets a nice crispiness outside while soft inside.

While we're on the topic... my husband never liked baked sweet potatoes cuz of the lack of crispiness.
my friend taught me the trick - toss the spices with cornstarch. my hubbie devoured them after that

Should I bake it covered or uncovered?
And something must be wrong with my oven because it takes way longer than an hour. I'll have to get a thermometer. _________________ Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

This is one of our family's favorites! However:
We leave off the salt and paprika.
We cut into cubes, not fries.
Instead of tossing with oil, simply drizzle with oil, it's easier.
If baked to perfection, they sweeten up like candied yams without the candy.
