How do you apply for foodstamps on chicago?

Is there an asset test? how do they determine it- cuz we have our paychecks going through the bank, but obviously get swallowed up no sooner than they are deposited.

Both the Chicago Center for Torah & Chesed and the Chicago Chesed Fund have people on staff to help with all government aid programs. Give one of them a call.
