hi, can anyone please post the sweet and sour brisket recipe from KBD or the kosher pallete..im not sure which one. but the recipe has saurkraut, brown sugar....

Sweet-and-Sour Brisket, (from Kosher by Design)
1 32-oz. jar sauerkraut, partly drained
5 pounds beef brisket
1 28-oz. can whole, peeled tomatoes
1 16-oz. box dark brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350. Pour the sauerkraut over the brisket. Add the tomatoes with their liquid. Sprinkle with the brown sugar. Cover with foil and bake for 3 hours.

my opinion is....that saurkraut should only be put on hot dogs yuchhh otherwise

Some don't use sourkraut during the month of tishrei.

oooh, thanx for the reminder...im making it for this shabbos though
hmm, I dont have any whole tomatoes on hand...I wonder if tomato sauce will be ok.
