We have an appointment with a neurologist in Mountainside, NJ. I called the office and it rang and rang and finally got to a message from the doctor that there is no power in the office and the phone was forwarded to his cell phone and to only leave a message if there is an urgent medical or medicine question. Should I assume my appointment is cancelled? This is a very hard doctor to get an appointment in and we are waiting for this followup for awhile. Should I leave a message?

chances are it is canceled. my brother is in teaneck and he said theres nothing doing there. everything is down. it hit there pretty bad. hopefully they will reschedule you when they are up and running. it cant hurt to leave a message on the office phone, but its not an emergency. so I wouldnt call his cell, but definitely do not schlep there to be greeted by a tree through the building.
