Ok my yummy 4 year old daughter is going to make me lose my sanity. She smells horribly from urine. She's forever leaking or going to the bathroom in her underpants. In school she's pretty ok but at home the bathroom now is practically off limits. I can't figure out if it's physical or behavioral but it's driving me batty. I need, first of all, a good and gentle urologist in Boro Park or NYC. (She has Child Health Plus) And I need any and all advice I can get.

Dr. Freidman and Dr. Freyle are male but I know my friend took her daughter to that office and a female nurse practitioner treated her- she needed some exercises that the NP specialized in.

Dr glassberg in bp he's also in Columbia Presbyterian he's the head neurology

I have the same problem with my 4 yr old whis been toilet trained at 19 months , I am going out of my mind I am actually taking her to a specialist

when that happened to my dd, it turned out she had a UTI.
please get her checked.

She was constantly leaking in her panties, and the urine smelled really awful. she had no other symptoms at all, no fever, no pain, nothing. but I got her checked and she tested positive for a UTI.

I've also heard that constipation can cause urine to leak out without sensation. Could it be she's constipated?

maybe we will meet in the waiting room. I'm hoping we get to graduate out after our next appointment. we have been going for the past 17 months....
