Ok so most of us incl me r guilty of doing this. embarrassed

Now lets be honest and I know it's can be a hard thing to do Twisted Evil

but w/h all the assumptions accummilated over ones life span, that ones spent presuming this, that and the other. How many times has one actually been right in their assumption?

I mean about people growing up w/h them incl teachers, friends, Rabbonim, grocers and posters yada, yada Wink

I have been right about one certain head who I couldn't stand coz I decided he was a perve and a sleaze bag. I def was right about that one.
Other stuff about people I didn't really know and then I got to know them, I was wrong about what I had previously thought of them.
U deffinately feel really bad if you thought bad of them and realised they were really nice. I think it's human nature to judge and assume things.
But it isn't something that is impossible to stop ourselves from doing.
I used to really judegmental and I realised it myself, so I decided to be extra careful, I still judge people. But every so often I will realise what I am doing and suddenly be extra dan lekaf zechus that people look at me and wonder what I am on.

I'm quite shy by nature and yet I still think that some people I meet are snobbish. Yet, they just turn out to be shy. That would be an area for me to work on.

Well, since I have sevensenses, and one of them is intuition..
I'm barely wrong..
when I assume s/thing, I'm right almost all the time..

I'm not gonna start to give example though.

In my life, assuming has been the cause of all my grief, which turns into diarrhea (excuse me but don’t you want honesty here?). I am forever assuming that this meant this and that one meant that and then I eat myself instead of asking WHAT did you mean!? For heaven sakes, grow up (I’m talking to myself here).

I think it's hard to always be right in our presuming assumptions cause to everything someone thinks or says everyone else understands it in as many different ways as there are people. In other words the same thing could be looked at in many views.
