IsnĀ“t anyone concerned about bad cholesterol and fat when serving fleishigs all the time? |
Serving salmon or chicken without skin can be SO much healthier than anything with cheese!

For lunch, almost always fleishig. For supper, often fleishig but sometimes milchig. Anyway, it is rare if we have a day with no fleishig meal. As a kid I had meat (like, beef) twice a day (French culture I suppose?).

I don't have any set plans. Usually on thurs. don't have meaty cause on shabbos we do. Mostly eat parve or milky. But sporatically have hot dogs or fried chicken, or meat sauce and spagehtti.

DH likes fleishig so we end up eating fleishig every night except for maybe Wednesday when I'll make fish and then Thursday is usually pizza or pasta and dh gets something else (like leftovers from a previous supper)!
I also find it a lot easier to just make chicken, meat, shnitzel or ground beef than making parev or milchig.

Most of us had a dairy intolerance so we can't eat repeated, heavily dairy meals.
Sun - leftovers and I make something with red meat
Mon - dairy but not heavy dairy, ususally noodles
Tues - Chinese or fish etc
Wed - sandwiches of some kind
Thurs - leftovers

Sunday, I try for Shabbos leftovers, but we usually don't have any because it was eaten Motzai Shabbos. Otherwise, easy fleishig, like hot dogs or such
Monday - milchig or pareve
Tuesday - fleishig
Wednesday - milchig or pareve
Thursday - whatever's easiest that day, usually fleishig.
Note: Chicken here is prohibitively expensive, so we have it only on Shabbos. Fleishig here usually means chopped meat or sausage. I bring chicken cutlets from America, so we have that also every other week.

I would love to make milchigs for supper, but DH doesn't let. He thinks it's "lunch" food.

Sunday night- Leftovers.
The other nights.... mostly fleishigs.
However we're eating one night of frozen pizza and one night of falafel these days as we won a stocked freezer in an auction recently.... and need to use up the food

I always have leftovers, definitely salads & kugel & usually a couple of pieces of chicken. I don't make exactly enough for 1 piece per person so there's always leftovers. I believe in overcooking. Rather have leftovers than guests wanting more & there isn't any.
