For the record I know the difference between flower and flour but my phone auto corrected me. When I read the post after it was up I just thought to myself... No one will make fun of me, I'll leave it, it's fine. Guess I was wrong, thanks guys!

I do equal parts flour and sugar with just enough oil to make a crumble. Got it on this website years ago.

I've played around for a long time til I found this one and its a winner:
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup icing sugar
3/4 cup flour
(It's basically a 1:2:3 ratio but with half the sugar as icing so you can easily change the amounts.)

Need advice on making large challahs. How long to bake and what temp so I know they're done inside but not overdone. Please be specific in terms of how many loaves from how much dough etc.

I do similar to realeez

1/4 cup sugar
4 spoons oil (or till crumbly)
just put some silver foil under challa pans so if crumbs fall, they dont fall on oven floor bec then it burns and smokes up oven
