Any recommendations for prepaid shabbos meals in Miami Beach? Also, how does the food taste. I rather pay an extra few dollars and have amazing food.

I hear Rare steakhouse is very good.

We went to the Chinese place (forgot what it's called), I think it was in the Carriage Club and food was ok but nothing special.

Fabulous was that Kikar Tel Aviv? Did you eat there on Shabbos?

I recommend buying take out from Kosher Kingdom in Aventura. The food is quite good and it will be a lot cheaper than pre-paying at a restaurant. Hopefully you have a fridge/kitchen available.

So far the options I found is Rare Steakhouse, Kikar Tel Aviv and Europa Grill. Rare Steakhouse is $75.00 a person. Is it really worth it???
Shabbos lunch we will do take out because we can eat salads and cold cuts cold. I have no where to warm up food Friday night because we are staying in a hotel.

I've heard rare isn't anything spectacular. It's regular Shabbos food. Does Grill House do Shabbos meals?

I found that the prepaid shabbos meals were nothing great and expensive (been to Rare, Tower 41, Kikar). Best thing to do, if you have an apartment or place with a kitchen is buy take out - cheaper and easier to eat at home.

I called Grilled House and he said he might start next week. Is the food good there? Does anybody know about the food at Europa Grill?

The restaurant menu at Grill House is great (better than rare IMO). I've never had Shabbos meals there, though.

we went to kikar tel aviv, it was expensive the food wasn't all that great, and we ate there and the dining room was stuffed to the capacity, it was like a chicken market. On the one hand it was nice getting out of our hotel room, but at the time I said next time we go for shabbos (which we dont anymore since that experience) I would buy ready takeout, and take along a small crockpot to heat up.

I always wondered, what if non-Jews passed by and wanted to eat at one of these prepaid Shabbos/Yom Tov restaurants, and they let them in? The'd have to sit with all the frummies, listen to zemiros and have cholent. LOL

Not really Smile he would be informed that seating is by reservation only.

I ate the Mimosa last year on Friday night, the food was delicious and plentiful but the dining room itself is pretty drab.

Does the dining room in Mimosa smell or just old fashioned?
