I just made fillet steaks for shabbos! DD calls it yummy meat.
Lay fillet steaks flat in a pan. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika. Cut circles of onions to put on top of steaks. Optional - cut mushrooms into quarters and stick into nooks and crannies of the pan. Lightly sprinkle soy sauce and red wine vinegar over everything. Add enough water to barely cover the meat. Cover pan tightly. Bake for 1.5 hours at 350 degrees.

Oh goodness, I really don't measure, so I don't know exactly. I sprinkle it on lightly instead of pouring it on. It really doesn't matter if you add a little too much or too little. This is a very forgiving recipe. Try it once, and then adjust the seasonings to your own tastes.

I'm just wondering if were talking in measurements of about 1-2 tbsp, or 1-2 cups?

Closer to the former than the latter.
If you prefer, my aunt sent me an easy fillet steak recipe. I haven't tried it because I like my own, but she's a good cook.
Here it is:
This is a go-to dish for Friday night which men especially enjoy.
Buy several tray of boneless filet steak, and a box of mushrooms.
In a flat (aluminum foil or not) tray, layer:filet steak. Spinkle all over with onion soup mix, and scatter a few trimmed (halved) mushrooms.
Repeat as necessary -- a flat pan works best, with one or 2 layers. Cover tightly (wih foil) That's right -- no liquid. It will produce it's own gravy..
Bake @350 for 2 hours Enljoy!
