my girls have pleated uniform jumpers, which I have been machine washing the whole year. The pleats don't look so nice anymore. What is the best way way to restore the pleats and to help them last better next year?

Have you been ironing them? I think that's the only way to keep them decent.

I used to send my machine washable pleated skirts to the cleaners to be pressed before the new school year so they would start fresh.
but you can iron them for cheaper.

Do you put them in the dryer or hang dry? I find they last longer if you hang dry.
What material are they made out of?
