"Frank Burns eats worms"
"Frank, may I be frank?"
Oh yes, and who could forget Col. Flagg, the ultimate patriot.

Has anyone seen the original Robert Altman film? Veeerrry different feel from the TV show. Not too many sympathitic or likeable characters in the entire film.
The film wasa huge hit. It seems it did not age well at all.

Yes, I saw the original and read the book too. Its amazing how they got the tv show to be so much cleaner and better.
Those who mentioned the theme song-do you know what its title is?

Whoa, back to childhood for me . . . My grandfather and I would watch this together. I was the only one of the grandkids who would stick around when he got a bash at the remote, cause I liked it. Of course, much of it went over my head, will have to see some again

But once they got rid of blake, radar and trapper and burns- its jsut not that funny anymore The original cast of characters were the best!

Yes they did. Radar was sent home to help on the farm after his uncle died. Klinger was then the clerk.
