U can sprinkle it directly on ur chicken. Or u can mix it w oil and brush it on chicken cutlets either for grilling (yumm!!) or baking.

Can I use it with chicken quarters on an electric grill directly or do I need to cook it first to get it soft?

I sprinkle on the chicken rub and garlic powder on chicken cutlets then "grill it" in my grill pan, it is yummy, even my picky eaters love it!

I have a cuisinart gridler. If I cook quarters will they get cooked/grilled or do I need the precook them?
I only tried cutlets and meatballs on it.
