Hi!
Are there any Brita pitchers you can you on shabbos? I haven't bought one in a looong time and it looks like the new ones have electronic indicators. Are those okay to use on shabbos? Or does Brita sell any without it?
Thanks!

there may be a problem with borer with any filter. not sure that lack of electronics would help. I have heard that a filter on the sink can be used for drink if it is run for a while before so it can be used for something else, but I don't know if a pitcher filter can be used. as always, aylor.

As far as halacha you'd have to ask your Rav. I would think it would be a problem if it has an electronic sensor. But I searched on Ebay for (new) "Brita pitcher" and several have pictures that don't appear to have electronic sensors. If you get the model numbers I would assume you could get them on Amazon or anywhere else.

I own an electric one. I never "turned it on" so its fine to use on shabbos.

The Target store-brand pitchers are not electronic and are compatible with Brita filters (and much cheaper).
