I made mini mint choc chip and lemon crumb ice creams for dessert on fri night. I'm planning to serve them on a platter in the center of the table so people can choose what flavor to have.
I was going to make mini apple pies to go with, but I can't imagine how that will work. If I give everyone an apple pie on a plate, where will they put their ice creams?
...Or should I stick to some kind of individual cake/brownie/cookie squares that people can also help themselves to? Any ideas and recipe suggestions would be great! Something really nice too, I like to treat my guests

First of all can I be your guest;)
Secondly I think one of the wafer rolls placed into each glass would be perfect. It's small enough to fit w/o overwhelming the ice cream but it's not just plain ice cream.
Enjoy your guests!

When I did this for sheva brachos, I made a variety of brownies to go with, but mini apple pies would work, why not put them in little muffin cases and arrange on a plate for people to take?
A tray of cut up fruit if it's in your budget and timeframe works great too.
