(anonymous because I asked this elsewhere)
Would pass the parcel and pin the tale on the donkey be good games for 6 year olds?
What are some other ideas? It wont be a very long party, maybe an hour and a half, but would love to hear ideas.

Both should be good.
Also, relay races, treasure or scavenger hunts, pin the tail on the donkey, or the like. If you have enough space, active games like Red Light, Green Light, What Time is it Mr. Fox, etc.

Can you elaborate on the 'nosh necklace' idea? It sounds cute.

Thanks shabbat, I know about that idea, but she said 'all types of nosh,' so I was wondering what else worked.

I gave each girl a string. at one end the string was tied to a jelly ring (to keep the rest of the nosh from falling out of the other end) then I put all kinds of nosh with holes on the table eg. super snack, jellies etc. and they all made their own necklace... it was a lot of fun!

Boy or girl?
I just made 6th party for dd and played pass the parcel which they all loved
musical bumps/statues
dead lions (for when they have too much energy after dancing around!)
Made a craft too which girls seem to love!
My dd has made licorice necklaces with cereal at parties and she loves these.
Cupcake decorating is also something done a lot which she also enjoys
Can get pin the crown on the princess as variation to donkey (lots of variations on ebay!)
Chinese whispers was also good
Simon says
I found it easier to make a list and plan out the games and craft so I was in control of the party, kind of like an itinerary!
Good luck
