Do Not give aspirin or ibuprofin (that's Advil, Motrin) for fever and pain relief. Both are associated with chicken pox complications, possibly severe. Stick to acetaminophen (Tylenol) if necessary. Refuah sheleima!

I had my 3 kids with chicken pox in 1 shot last winter. I thought I was dying!
Bathe her in a bath of aveeno.
I think I gave benadryl around the clock. (Check with doc)
I also smeared calimine lotion on the pox.
I think thats basically all you can do.
Refuah shleima! Hope it gets better soon.
It lasted almost 2 weeks by my kids.

Keep her as cool as possible. Loose oversized undershirt. The spots come much more in hot sweaty areas of the body. Dust with cornstarch.
Aveeno is Chometz!
If you can get vitamin E oil or capsules (a/t not made from wheat should be okay) and dab on the spots immediately when you see a little pink dot, they won't come to a head!

my kid did have chicken pox the week before Pesach! Luckily it was a pretty mild case, but I was suddenly housebound with him.
