I've tried quite a few times, because homemade pickles are really amazing, but they never came out right.

Now I have tons of leftover cucumbers from Pesach, and this would be the best solution.

Any tips, dos & don'ts would be appreciated.
Also, I don't have jars for all the cucumbers, is there anything else I can use?

TIA!

What have you tried? I am also in search of the perfect pickle recipe. At least we can share notes on what didn't work Smile

Well so far I've been googling about it, and I've discovered some things.
They say to use small & firm cucumbers. Well I have to admit that I make pickles when I have to use up the cucumbers, hence they're not too firm nor small.

One site said that when using big cucs, to soak them for a few hours in cold water. I did that & we'll see if that helps. Some said 5-7 days & some said 2 weeks. We'll see now.
