Fresh and easy.
I don't have Chic made simple, but I have perused it, and I do have Fresh and easy.
I used many recipes from Fresh and Easy; she is always right on target! Since I like to cook healthful foods, I often adapt her recipes to be healthier.
I think that Fresh and Easy gives great everyday ideas, with some perhaps for Shabbos, but I used her recipes mostly for weeknight dinners.

Fresh and easy is great, but if you clipped her recipes over the years from the Mishpacha ,you will find you have a lot of them already...

I have both. Fresh and Easy is more homey cooking, Chic Made simple is more elegant, yet also yummy. It depends on what your needs are!
