As it gets warmer outside, I get dehydrated and weak very easily. There is a limit to how much water I can stomach so I prefer sweet drinks. However, I cant have lots of sugar so energy drinks or snapple type drinks are out. I also really dont like ingesting chemicals, so anything with aspartame, splenda etc. is out.
I am comfortable using xylitol, but I dont know of any ready made drinks that I can buy that are sweetened with that.
Any suggestions?

What about juice? apple juice, orange juice, whatever other kinds of juice are out there that without added sugar - that's all we buy in our house. My husband will add a bit of juice to his water just to give it some taste and that's what my 2-year-old drinks also.

Can you make yourself a large pitcher of lemonade with xylitol? Maybe add mint as a refreshing condiment as well...

You can make homemade iced tea or lemonade using whatever sweetener you're OK with. Make a big pitcher every morning so you can drink it throughout the day.
You can also let flavored seltzer go flat and drink that.
You can make a big smoothie with frozen fruits and water and enjoy that. It really doesn't need any sweetener, especially if you put in a banana.

I buy Crystal Light Pure. It comes in packets that you add to water.
It is all natural flavors and coloring and uses Stevia as the sweetener.

I followed this recipe - http://www.chabad.org/blogs/bl.....e.htm
you make juice from the water you cook apples in for compote. you can cook it down to a syrup, then dilute with water and ice and it goes quite a long way.

you can also always make fresh orange juice, dilute a little and add lots of ice.

we bought a $20 juicer, & have been juicing oranges, grapefruits & even lemon (& add maple syrup & water for the lemon)
very easy to use & clean. (plus gives a lot of energy - but if you have a sugar prob, drink this on an empty stomach & dont eat for about half hour or so)
nothing is better!

Iced tea, just skip the sugar. I use some cinnamon and licorice herbal teas that have a naturally sweet flavoring to them.
