Hi,
I am trying to make a Caramel Chocolate Trifle which calls for the following ingredients:

1 package (9 ounces) devil's food cake mix
2 packages (3.9 ounces each) instant chocolate pudding mix
1 carton (12 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 jar (12-1/4 ounces) caramel ice cream topping
1 package (7-1/2 or 8 ounces) English toffee bits or almond brickle chips

I am looking for an alternative to the last two. Should I just use any Caramel Topping? Where do I find Toffee bits? This looks so good...

Can anyone help me??

Thank you

Did you want to make it pareve? If so, you can probably find a pareve caramel sauce and you can make toffee yourself it only takes margarine and sugar.

If it can be dairy, I would use skor chips as the toffee bits.

If it's ok to be milchik and not CY, buy some Heath bars and smash them with a hammer. Heath may also be sold in "bits".

Viennese crunch is a great idea! Thanks for the tips and all the others. I also saw a recipe online to how to make it myself.
