Does anyone have a bunk bed to sell??? I searched all over the internet and the cheapest I could find was from IKEA for $99. I like the price but I read on another thread that it broke easily. Does anyone know of anyone who wants to get rid of their bunk beds?

I hear they are pretty dangerous for kids.

Which IKEA bed was this? We have the metal one, the wooden cheaper one looked flimsy. I can't remember how much it cost, but we've had it for over 4 years and is now the bed of my 2 very boisterous boys who treat it more as a climbing frame than a bed. Very happy with it and are thinking of buying another exactly the same, when we need it IY"H.

I want one too. I even tried to win one in 2 differnt chinese auctions. They are so expensive otherwize. I got lucky. I bought the one I have from a friend who's kids were afraid to sleep on top. It's solid wood, high enough that you can sit on the bottom bunk without bumping your head & only cost me $400. She had some guys deliver it & put it together for me.
Have you tried Craigs List? I did a while ago but haven't checked again.

The ikea metal one looks very cool. They even have one that makes for a cozy desk and the bed on top!

Does that fact that so many accidents occur involving bunk beds and kids scare no one but me?
