Just funny - That's what this thread is (look at the first post) - people added other Tehillim sites, doesn't matter, it's just funny that you suggested this when you're on that thread (hope I didn't offend you - it was a good idea)

Let's also include in our tehillim the prayer that the Israeli government get some "sechel" and continue destroying those tunnels. And not do a ceasefire just because it is what the world wants. . .
Because at this point it doesn't look too good.

I agree. But Israel already announced a ceasefire. . . if only the Israeli government had a little bit of religion. Maybe then they would have more brain power.

I have printed out the Tefila leshlom hamedinah which asks Hashem to grant wisdom to her leaders, officers (ministers?) and advisors. Also the Misheberach for Tzahal. You can find the links... wait, I will get them for anyone who doesn't have these in their siddur & wants them
here is the first one
and here's the second one.
(anon because we don't say these in my circles, & if I ever get outed...JK)

Let's keep political discussions out of this thread and just keep saying Tehillim for the Chayalim and civilians that are wounded and for the safety of Am Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael and around the world

I agree but my point was we need to include the above cause in our tehillim too. We need to do tehillim for that too. . .
Because otherwise everyone will have died in vain.

I would say Tehillim that Hashem guides the gov't to do the right thing. Not that they should do what you think is the right thing. They're planning to finish the tunnels no matter what. What's your next move? Do away with Hamas? That's not the right move for a few reasons. Agreeing to a ceasefire is an important political move. So maybe leave the Tehillim generic and you can add to help the gov't make the right moves whatever they are (count on Hashem to fill that part in)
I think this discussion should move off this thread - open a new one (preferably with your SN)

I was just saying.
And I meant no offense. I was just saying that we should include in our tehillim she Hashem yiten shechel ve yirat shamayim in their hearts. Or a variation of that.
And saying that "a ceasefire is an important political move" is an opinion. And not an educated one at that.

bump
the war is still going on, even though it's not the "hot" news anymore.

Why do you insist on having this discussion in a Tehillim thread? Open a new thread (use your SN). Since I started this thread for only the purpose of Tehillim, if you don't stop trying to change the original topic I will report you and ask that you be stopped from discussing anything other than Tehillim needs ofIsrael on this thread. We can post and discuss for hours but this thread has just one purpose. Please take your other opinions to a new thread.
Please continue with whichever Tehillim you like

Please daven for Rachamim ben Aliza Chana who was fighting in Gaza and jumped on a grenade to save at least 5 of his friends - as well as for a refuah shleima for all the injured chayalim and our injured civilians and Hashem should continue to protect the residents of Israel and Tzahal (looks like we need a lot of tfillot)

When you daven for the chayalim please have in mind Yehuda Yitzchak ben Iris - he's a friend of my nephew who was wounded badly in the head. He has one child and is expecting a second soon.

a tractor/steam shovel just crashed into a bus in an apparent terror attack.
according to reports, the bus was at its first stop and was empty. there was one casualty, a pedestrian, R"L. a few injuries.
it could have been much, much worse had the bus been full.
all the tehillim seems to be helping, there are amazing nissim happening every day here.
please continue davening for us!

It seems like the 72 hour cease fire is going to last but Hamas is planning to end it with a big bang at 8:00 AM Friday morning here. Every cease fire so far has ended with casualties for us. Past the cease fire everyone is fearing what will follow? Will there really be quiet in the south? Will the rockets and terror attacks end? We haven't won yet? All we can do is pray for a good outcome.
Also, there are still many chayalim in the hospital. Some are still in serious condition.
We shouldn't have let up on the Tehillim. So much is iffy here. Please continue the Tehillim so that 8 AM Friday morning will be quiet and peaceful

The rockets are flying again here. Some injuries. Many chayalim are still in the hospital. My nephew's friend Yehuda Yitzchak ben Iris is in the hospital with a head injury. This boy was handpicked by his rosh yeshiva to marry his daughter. They have 1 baby and one on the way. He joined Tzahal for 3 years on top of his extra years of Yeshiva. At this point, all we can do is daven for him
