Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan, zt"l, has several slim books on just this. I know that there are some anthologies too and it could be that one of them will fit the bill.

ETA: ignore this and follow the advice in the following posts. I assumed he wasn't being combative, you thought it was appropriate to give him the info he wants. Still better if he talks to a rav, etc.

yes, I would avoid giving it. if he asks for info, you can give him the number of a rav. or he can go on amazon and ask you your opinion on a few titles.
