Im looking for easy to read/learn books on chaggim. before every chag I wish that I could learn about the chag, why, what where,,,, I cant learn like dh does with commentaries etc. so far ive found the sfas emes series , but after reading reviews , not sure if that would be the right fit either. id like a book on evry single chag, fasts, 3 weeks etc. can be in one book or volumes etc etc.
thank you so much would really apreciate your help.

"Here you are" by Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller has some lighter, inspirational essays about each Yom Tov. For something a little "heavier", I enjoy Strive for Truth (Rav Dessler) or some of R' Sampson Rafael Hirsch's essays on Yom Tov (in his collected writings).
