I have burgundy skirts for my girls, ages 10 and 12. what should I put to it? I have no sense of fashion, and could use advice.. thanks!

Gray turtleneck. Navy also can match nicely to burgundy, especially when paired with forest green. I have a nice top that is burgundy, green, gold, and black paisley. Something like that may also work for you.
It really depends on the skirt style though.
