Is this what you are looking for?
Peanut Chews
1 cup sugar
1 cup caro syrup
1 cup peanut butter
Mix over low flame until melted. Turn off fire. Add
6 cups rice krispies
Mix well. Put into 9x13 pan and flatten.
We don't like it with chocolate on top, so I don't know if there's a recipe for that. Maybe just melt baking chocolate or chocolate chips and drizzle.

my mil used to make something like this. she'd just melt chocolate chips with peanut butter, add rice crispies and sometimes raisins. spoon it onto a foil covered cookie sheet, cover with foil and roll it with a rolling pin till its all smashed together and about 1/4 in thick. refrigerate then break into pieces. its sooo good but probably not the most beautiful thing to serve to guests. she just kept it around for general noshing.

Just add 1/2 cup cocoa and boil it with the rest (sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter). I usually add 5 cups rice krispies instead of 6 but I guess it comes out the same.
