Help paying for medicine

Ladies, are there any jewish organizations that will help a non religious, Jewish man pay for medicine for a life threatening condition. This is a young man with a pregnant wife, he is waiting for a liver transplant. Does anyone know what help is available? Thank you

I don't know about any organizations, but he should ask his doctors if there are organizations for people with his condition that help him pay for medications. The Jewish organizations help non religious Jews as well, I just don't know which ones address this area of concern. Refuah Shalaima.

Try the local bikur cholim. In certain communities they help with medicine as well. You can also try the local Jewish Community Council and see If they can help or guide where to go.

Encourage him to speak with a hospital social worker. The SW mught be familiar with programs at the hospital or private organizations or free medicine programs from manufacturers.
