Anyone used mazel tov movers recently?
I would also like to know about their storage.
Or any other mover with storage recommendations.

I had a bad experience with Fishman. We hired them just to move one large piece of furniture. They were lazy and didnt pack it well. The screws were left in the hinges and a few of the doors had really large deep scratches.

When my husband called to complain, he refused to do anything. He claimed he didnt make much money on the job and didn't even bother helping us repair it or pay anything towards it.

Hi Ra_mom, do you have the phone number of MBD movers?
I don't find it in the phone book.

Anyone else is welcome to respond as well... Wink

I used Chinese movers few years ago, they were not so expensive $400 for 2 BR, my brother used them recently, and few other people I know. You could try them for an estimate. Hong Dong Moving 718-593-2874, very fast and efficient.

And perhaps not licensed?

This is their number 718-437-1977. But you must get a signed quote and hold onto it. Expect to have extra money ready to pay more.
The more recent time we moved we decided to pay more upfront and use a company that would sign us up for a quote that was set in stone so we used BP movers.
I really liked the way MBD did the move but the unexpected stressed us out. I don't think BP was better but they were also very good so I wanted to point that out.

I used Mazel Tov. They were the cheapest of 5 moving companies that I called to give me a price quote. I was very happy with the move. They were very careful with all boxes and furniture. They even helped me finish packing boxes. I was just disappointed that the tipping price per worker was more that I was quoted.
