I wasn't sure which forum this belongs in but I am working for our schools play and we are looking for only frum artists to borrow tunes from.
We need a tune for our "dock workers" song- like a sailor-ish tune.
Any artists/songs you can recommend would be very helpful

Berry webers latest cd has many catchy tunes. Also Benny friedman's collection is great, so is The Eighth day. If you want more specifics, feel free to pm me

Funny cuz I was just recently singing this song in my head and was trying to think if this tune can be used for something else. Its got a certain rhythm but I think it might work quite well for your sailors song actually!
Have you watched the "sisters" videos?
If you haven't, ask around cuz it's pretty famous out there..
They have a song that goes:
"Hey, hey, shalalalala sisters till the end, sisters your my very best friend.."
