I bought a frozen minute roast that's way big for us. Can I cut it in half and cook each half separately to get two different tasting meals out of it?
Any ideas for how to cook it? I'd really like two recipes that are pretty different. Oh, and both have to be very easy

Here is a recipe that is delicious and very easy.
1 French Roast About 5 Lbs
5 tablespoon/s Crushed Garlic
1/4 cup/s Teriyaki Sauce
1/4 cup/s Red Wine Good Quality
Preparation
Shmear the crushed garlic on top of the meat. Mix together the wine and teriyaki together and pour over the meat. Bake at 400F for 1/2 hour uncovered. Reduce oven to 350F and bake for another 2- 2/12 hours. Cool and slice

Thanks!
For either of those recipes, would it make a big difference if I baked the entire time covered? My oven is parve and I'd like to keep it like that. Would a crockpot work?
Also, can I cut my roast in half and cook it two different ways?

I just modified this for a three and half pound minute roast.
Here's my recipe
Preheat oven to 400
Minute roast - rub all over with paprika, garlic powder, crushed garlic, onion powder, salt, and one TBSP oil
cover tightly with foil. Bake for one hour.
Take out of oven. Lower oven temp to 350
Mix:
1 1/2 C ketcuhp
1 1/2 C duck sauce
1 C water
3 TBSP maple syrup
2 TSP onion soup mix
Pour over roast. Return to oven, uncovered, for another hour.
It was a HUGE hit. My kids said it tasted "barbecue'ish" whatever that means........
