OP, I believe there is a FB page along the lines of "Chicago Jewish Mothers" or something similar. That seems to be where a lot of the latest info is traded regarding what apparel stores have tznius items in stock, where you can find various items, etc.
Perhaps someone knows the exact name.

The group you're talking about is Chicago's Jewish Mommies/Singles. There is another group called Chicago Jewish Central which can be very helpful.

Kesher Stam, the bookstore on Touhy near California has a nice selection (obviously you aren't looking for real silver since you've said not expensive).
Additionally, Rosenblums & Hamakor, bookstores in Skokie should have.
The one real silver store is Gift It, also in Skokie. PM me if you need contact info, but they should all be in Acheinu.
