We were given a baby nurse when my baby came home from a rehab hospital with a tracheostomy and needed care. 16 hours a day. If there is no medical reason, does insurance pay for that? We hired babyitters and paid privately for overnight in the beginning when my preemies came home. No insurance covered that alone.
