Does anyone know where in Lakewood and Deal I can get some children's accessories and toys? Looking for hosiery, toy store and Judaica types of places? Names and address would be very helpful.

Will be there for only one day and want to plan where to go.

You will find them all in the Clifton Ave neighborhood.

On 2nd St between Clifton and Lexington is Torah Treasures - a great Judaica store. Make sure you go upstairs and down to the basement. They have a ton of stuff and great prices.
JRP is also on 2nd st - they mostly carry kids socks, they have some other accessories.

On Clifton Ave between 1st St and 2nd St is Shoppers Paradise, they carry kids clothing and accessories.

On Clifton Ave between 2nd St and 3rd St is Accents - a hosiery store plus other accessories.

On 3rd St between Clifton and Madison(Route 9) is Toys for Thought - an amazing toy store. They also have more merchandise upstairs and in the basement.

There's not a lot of on street parking, although you may get lucky. There is a parking lot between Madison and Clifton on either side of 2nd St. There is also a parking lot off 2nd between Clifton and Lexington, but again you have to get lucky there.

Thanks sky- this is very helpful for those of us who get the occasional chance for a day of shopping in Lakewood. I've found the Sunset & James shopping area & the WestGate area have great selection & are much less congested than the down town area.

& IIRC both have a grocery in the shopping complex too.
