but what if you want to wear the type of nightie you want to wear? since you are in the privacy of your bedroom, nobody is going to see you who is not your husband. I am just very picky about what I buy, even nightwear, and something has to be really pretty for me to buy it. but I generally sleep in pyjamas because nighties don't keep me warm enough, I even have to wear a hoodie over my pyjama top. but some people sleep naked though. since it's not even your home we're talking about, but your bedroom, what's the problem?

Depends on the person. My husband and I are fairly old fashioned people, especially him. I tease him that he was born in the wrong century-he would have been much happier several hundred years ago. He would probably really, really like it if I came into the bedroom in a long-sleeved nightgown down to my ankles.

I have previously asked this particular shaila to a very respected rav in Yerusahalayim. He said that your style of lingerie/ sleepwear should be the same as your style in clothing....Nobody ever said you have to be tznius for your husband in bed!! This also does not mean to say you shouldn't still dress like a bas Yisrael. I hope you understand what I am saying. There is plenty of elegant and classy lingerie out there as opposed to the slutty types! Hatzlacha

Can anyone post updated links to tznius nightwear that's not frumpy?
The local stores in brooklyn are so expensive.
