Romaine lettuce with purple onion, and cucumber and cubes of avocado! I can’t get enough of this. season with lemon juice, oil, and salt. For the hungry ones, put a heart egg in it too!

We discussed this, you can do a search with my name and find some really great ideas.

PM me if you can't figure out how to do it.

Thanks CM but there are like 500 pages of posts by you, I only have a few minutes today. I also tried to do a search for breakfasts and I didn't see anything close. I don't have all day to sort so maybe those who are willing to do a little repeat can give a newbie some ideas. We live in the south and my family requires substance in a meal.

If you guys are into ‘farina’ you can try milk with sugar, vanilla, finely ground nuts and some potato starch.

Do you mean Pesach breakfasts or for any Shabobs? Be specific and I'll gladly help you!

You know I'm just a displaced Southern Belle !!!!!

The cheesecake sounds really yummy but I am 5'6" and 165 lbs. That is my high since the birth of my last child and I am trying not to move beyond that. I have a ravenous sweet tooth and I would eat the whole thing at one setting. shock

We make Kiddush around 1:30 or so, and in order not to be starved by then, I HAVE to eat something before shul. I don't like to use the bathroom there, so I don't drink juice or coffee . . . or even a yogurt. Sorry if TMI.

So - if we're talkin' Pesach breakfast - what about melon salad? Applesauce with nuts on top? Would you have matza in the AM?

You can also have plain fruits like bananas.....oranges, apples.......

If you eat dairy, you can have a leben, a yogurt, even cottage cheese with your fruit/melon salad.

What about a hard boiled egg, or scrambled eggs - with or without cheese & potatoes and veggies.

There are no sugar Pesach cakes, too.....
