I recently moved and I am looking to furnish my guest rooms. I have three guest rooms. I am not looking to spend a lot. I need a night table or something to put a clock and lamp. I also need ideas how to dress up the rooms a bit. Since I have three rooms I need three of each so I am looking for cheap bec it will all add up. I also wanna know what's nice to put in the rooms/bathroom for the convenience of the guests.

if you don't have the monies - do one at a time - quality trumps cheapness ... good pillows - cotton sheets - down blankets - a night light or shabbos lamp
also for the bathrooms - have mouthwash - extra toothbrushes - a sheitel head - lotion -

For cheap nightstands you can try ikea.

I would also suggest keeping a few water bottles (maybe in a decorative basket) in each room in case guests are thirsty during the night.

An inexpensive mirror can add to the decor and is also really useful for guests.

Actually, I like the one with the open shelf. You can put some reading material there (books or old magazines) for the guests to easily use.

OP here. Thanks everyone. I like the one with open shelf but I don't care for the colors. Also one of the rooms I keep my treadmill so three not a lot of space in bet the beds, wud need something narrow. The stickers r so pretty but I rather put up something real. Keep the ideas coming!

Window treatments! It makes it so much more homey. I would do either a theme for each room or a connected theme.
Curtains, pillows and towels in one color. Put a cloth napkin diagonally on the nightstand complimenting that color. Paint, bedding and a throw rug are all easy to use to pull it as together.
Don't neglect a clock and mirror!

I'm dealing with a similar issue on a larger scale. I'm building a new home which will have 6 guest rooms (I have a lot of married kids & grandkids). 3 of the rooms will be designated as kid's room and each will be large enough for 4 twin beds -- they will each have 2 hi-risers which will be opened as needed. They won't have any other furniture (all closets will have both a rod and drawer space). The other 3 are designated as adult rooms with 2 twin beds and a dresser and a nightstand plus a baby closet (a closet with a louvered door as part of each room that is large enough for a pack 'n play). I can't decide if I should do all kids rooms the same and all adult rooms the same (those would have some variation regardless as I've got various dressers & nightstands to go in them).

you don't want you home to look/feel institutionalized ... I suggest things should be unique in each room

I would do the same furniture for each room but bedding, rugs and mirrors are so easy to buy in diff. colors/patterns.

If youre in the NY area Closeout Connection has really reasonably priced linen sets that are perfect for guest rooms.

Sounds awesome!!
But don't make the same mistake as someone I know. They also put in tons of guest rooms for their kids, but did not think to make their dining room large enough to accommodate all those guests!

Oh, we're making the DR plenty big plus it can expand to both the living room on one end and the den on the other. Could probably seat 60 that way easily.

Craigslist! You can search for quality name brand furniture and get to bargain about the price. Just say cash and carry at a certain date to make yourself more appealing. I have even been known to travel a couple of hours for awesome furniture. It is well worth it. :-)
