My sister is engaged and I want to make her a nice shabbos kallah. I am unsure as to what kind of event this is though. Is it like a kiddish for her girlfriends? What kind of foods do you serve?
Often people do a seudah shlishis for friends or just a afternoon get together for friends. I invited a small group of friends to spend shabbos with me amd it was very nice. It all depends on what the kallah wants. Don't do anything without making sure that that's what she wants. Ask her what her friends did and what she liked/disliked about it.
